Now it gives us great pleasure to introduce our newest international option: Heilmaier Messedesign Shanghai! With a dynamic team of designers and project managers, this subsidiary enterprise of Heilmaier Messedesign opened its doors in February 2012.
Intern experience goes International at FIT
EDPA has been a major supporter of the FIT Master Degree in Exhibition Design program. Upon completion of the program, each student must complete a 6-8 week internship with a practicing company with the industry. The first EDPA international company to take on an FIT intern was Heilmaier Messedesign Munich. While attending the Exhibitor Show in Las Vegas, and visiting the Exhibit DEsign Education booth, the management team at Heilmaier Messedesign offerd FIT student Alex Pina the opportunity to serve his internship in Munich.
Durnig Alex's six-week internship, Heilmaier tasked him with creating a pre-event marketing campaign for teh 2012-ZLF, Germany's largest agricultural fair.
"It's funny how I always start off the design process thinking about one thing and then that thought evolves inot something completely different", said Pina. "As I look back, I realize the real impact of the many cultural differences I was exposed to in such a short time. This was an experience I will never forget."
The New Munich Exhibition Grounds - Bau 2011 - Record demand at the International Exhibition for Architecture, Materials, and Systems.
The most important exhibition in this industry was pushed to a whole new level by a 10% increase in visitors since the last Bau in 2009.
Bau 2011 filled the exhibition halls with breath taking trade show stands featuring spectacular architecture. Over 2000 exhibitors from 46 countries presented their products and services over an area measuring more that 180,000m² (1,937,500ft²).
Seele Sedak was one of many projects realised by Heilmaier Messedesign this year. The visitors were greeted with simple and clear elegance. Brand recognition at a distance was achieved through the a stylish cantilevered ceiling construction for which Heilmaier Messedesign has a patent pending.
IFES 2010 at the World Expo—Heilmaier Takes Center Stage
As part of this year’s IFES meeting at the World Expo in Shanghai China, Stephen Benedetti Director of International Projects from Heilmaier Munich will be giving a talk on the successful implementation of a global trade show concept. Stephen will be presenting together with Larry Kulchawik of 3D Exhibits Chicago and Benedict Soh of Kingsmen Shanghai so that the qualitative differences between the European, the North American, and Asian experiences will be represented. As the first presentation in this year’s educational program, this wide ranging presentation is guaranteed to excite and challenge the attendees.
Heilmaier Messedesign München is planning and realizing Room-in-Room solutions
Heilmaier Exhibit Design Munich is planning and realizing Room-in-Room solutions for you in both your modern working and living environments. One particularly interesting innovation arising from these systems is the modular Office-Box, which can be either permanently fixed to the floor or built on wheels to be truly flexible.
Exhibitor 2010 in Las Vegas - Come and meet us there!
Exhibitor 2009 was a huge success for Heilmaier Messedesign. 
We met old friends and colleagues, made new friends, and gained new clients!
Basically, we were our own trade show client and we delivered the same experience to us which we usually deliver to our clients.
For Exhibitor 2010 we want both to build on that experience and to start giving back to the industry in which we work. Stephen Benedetti will be personally in Las Vegas from March 15-18 to meet friends, colleagues, partners, and clients.

"Sternstunden" is a Bavarian charity dedicated to bringing smiles and laughter year round to children hit hardest by misfortune.
This year we at Heilmaier wanted to find a good cause to support and are

What we have done, then, is taken the money that we normally use for gifts and cards for all our best clients, suppliers, and partners, and have donated it to Sternstunden. The largest environmentally-themed exhibition in the world, the IFAT, 16th International Trade Show for Water, Waste Water, Trash, and Recycling is changing from an every three year schedule to an every 2 year schedule. Therefore, the next IFAT will be in Munich in 2010 instead of 2011.
